| The Market Place Kitchen is the prepared food department at Guido’s Great Barrington location. We are not your usual food retailer - we are chefs who cook what we sell. We make everything in small batches, without chemicals or preservatives. This means our quality is controlled by a cook with a tasting spoon, and not by some remote factory. And we can be quite flexible about the products we offer, from sensible and healthful, though intensely flavorful everyday foods, to extravagant indulgences, to the salads, entrees, appetizers, soups, breads, pastries, cookies and muffins which are all our own, and available exclusively at Guido’s South. We also offer cheese. Our selection represents more of the great cheese producers in Europe and in America (especially New England) than any other shop in the region.
